“…if Broken Flesh were aiming to establish themselves as a force to be reckoned with not only in Christian circles but among the extreme metal community as a whole, they have certainly succeeded here. This eponymous work is one of the most concussive albums of the year that, despite its dearth of “songiness,” resonates through its sheer brute force. Swear to god.” – Metal-Rules.com

“Christian metal often gets a bad reputation for being soft or fake. Well, one cannot say that about Oklahoma metal act Broken Flesh. The band’s self-titled third album is straight up guttural, tech-death metal with a groove… Extreme metal fans should check out Broken Flesh and prepare to be consumed by brutality.” – Target Audience Magazine

“…whatever the message, Broken Flesh sure know how to engage with their skilled savagery…”- RAMZine

“…eat, drink, and listen to death metal. Particularly Broken Flesh.” – NoCleanSinging.com

Discography

Jacob on the new self titled album-

"For all of us in Broken Flesh, this album stands as the panicle of what we have to offer in sheer brutality.  We set out to make the most whole hearted, gut wrenching composition of music and lyrics that we were given the ability to make... and that is what happened.  In tracks such as "Hell", "Ignominy", and "Hate", the lyrics reflect some of the hardest times we have faced in our lives and where the Holy spirit was in those times, something that we felt very lead to share with our audience.  This, of course, would be a hard point to make without a crushing production, and we have to say that Nick Morris (As They Sleep) and Josh Dillon of Elaire Studios did a fantastic job at doing just that.

We are honored to be a part of the Luxor family and cannot wait for you all to hear what we have been working on.  And above all else, may Christ be glorified."
